I've had the pleasure of sharing my multimedia photography-based talks with many WI, U3A, and similar groups since 2017. The overwhelmingly positive response has led to most of my bookings coming through word of mouth—a testament to the engaging nature of these presentations.
While in-person talks are always preferred, the pandemic showed us that online sessions can be just as effective. As such, I continue to offer online options for those who prefer or require them.

How to Take Amazing Photos With Just Your Phone Camera'
Join me for an engaging 45-minute interactive talk designed to help you improve your photography skills with any camera. Illustrated with a selection of my stunning photos of Devon, this presentation covers essential topics such as composition, light, and basic camera functions. The talk also includes lively audience discussions on what makes a great photo, ensuring you leave with practical tips and inspiration to enhance your photography.
My Journey Into Photography: Walking The South West Coast Path'
Join me for a captivating talk that shares my personal journey of walking the entire 630 miles of the South West Coast Path. This inspiring experience not only deepened my connection with nature but also sparked my passion for photography. The talk is a blend of stories from my adventure, insights into the stunning locations along the way, and the stories behind some of my most memorable photos.

Illustrated with a selection of my best photos and videos of the breath-taking Devon Coast, as well as Dartmoor landscapes, this presentation also features video clips kindly provided by the South West Coast Path Association. To support this wonderful charity, £5 from each talk fee will be donated to their cause.
Talk Details
Run Time
All talks are around 45 minutes plus Q&A time, so around one hour in total. I usually aim to arrive 30 minutes before the talk to ensure any IT issues can be resolved.
Venue Requirements
My talks are presented using Microsoft PowerPoint and include sound and video. For in-person engagements, I provide my own laptop and projector (with sound) suitable for smaller venues. It helps if you can provide a screen or white wall, but I can bring one if necessary. For larger venues, I typically utilize the venue's built-in projection and audio equipment, but this usually needs some on-site IT support!
Cost & Payment
The standard price for a talk (whether in person on online) is £65 (includes a £5 donation to the South West Coast Path Association). Return travel from Honiton is charged at 50p per mile, plus any parking fees if applicable. Payment by cheque or BACS.
